Masoud Karbasian Joins NIOC Board of Directors
Iranian Minister of Petroleum Bijan Zangeneh issued a decree on Sunday appointing Masoud Karbasian as a member of the board of directors at the National Iranian Oil Company (NIOC) for four years.
"In accordance with the powers delegated to me by the General Assembly of the National Iranian Oil Company,… and given your commitment, expertise and record of success, your services and experiences, I, hereby, appoint you as a main member of the board of directors of the National Iranian Oil Company,” read the decree by Mr. Zangeneh on Sunday.
The appointment came as the current NIOC CEO, Ali Kardor, is stepping down because of retirement.
