Since his arrival in Vienna on Tuesday, Zangeneh has conferred with several counterparts from OPEC member states.

Boutarqe traveled to Zangeneh's residence in Kempinski Hotel late on Tuesday to visit him.

After the meeting, he said, 'We had good talks and I am optimistic.'

According to Petroleum Ministry, Boutarqe was the third minister who came to Zangeneh's residence in the hotel to visit his Iranian counterpart after the Ecuadorean foreign minister and Indonesian energy minister.

On his first day in Vienna, Zangeneh met with senior directors of French Company Total and managing director of Lukoil.

He told reporters in his residence in Kempisnki Hotel, 'We will not change level of production we agreed upon in Algeria.'

OPEC meeting will convene today in Vienna to finalize Algiers' agreement to cut oil production to help surge global oil prices.

Zangeneh departed Tehran for Vienna, Austria, on November 29 (Tuesday) to attend the 171st ordinary session of the Organization of Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC) on November 30.

The 171st OPEC session will be held in its permanent headquarters in the Austrian capital.

During its extraordinary session in Algeria on September 28, OPEC members decided to fix its production at the level of 32,500,000 bpd.
