The 21st edition of International Oil, Gas, Refining, and Petrochemical Exhibition was opened earlier on Thursday in Tehran at the venue of Tehran International Fair Ground.
This year the event hosts 1900 companies from 38 countries. Among the companies showcasing the newest of their achievements and products, 880 companies are from Germany, Ukraine, China, Italy, the UAE, Armenia, Austria, Belgium, France, Hong Kong, India, Malaysia, the Netherlands, Poland, Canada, Venezuela, South Korea, Russia, Spain, Turkey, England, Azerbaijan, Norway, Brazil, Bulgaria, Romania, Japan, New Zealand, Taiwan, Indonesia, Finland, Switzerland, Monaco, Australia, Singapore, Sweden, Portugal, and the USA.
This is the first round of the event after the removal of sanctions in February 2016, and companies which were pressured to boycott the exhibition in the last years have rejoined the event again in addition to some international groups which attend the event for the first time.
With the slogan of ‘capital attraction and technology conveyance,’ in an area of 70,000 square meters, the four day event will come to an end late on Sunday.
